Restaurant PikkuSavotta is Savotta’s tiny sister restaurant, located on the street Sofiankatu just 80 metres from Savotta. Like its big sister, PikkuSavotta takes you to a nostalgic view of Finland from past decades. Location by the Senate Square, in the heart of Helsinki, as well as the size of the restaurant creates unique surroundings for all kinds of private events for 10-20 persons.

Logging Camp Evening

The Logging Camp Evening takes you back in time to the Finnish logging camps of the old days offering warm hospitality and lots of laughs. The joyful evening begins with hand washing. After hands have been dried with a linen towel, it’s time to take a seat at the table. After the group has been seated, the “elämänluukku”, the “hatch of life”, will be opened. In logging camps of the old days, a female cook used to serve the food for lumberjacks from the kitchen by using this “elämänluukku”. An appetite will be waked up with camp cook’s tasty lingonberry aperitif. After the dinner you have the option to sing camp Karaoke! Have a joyful evening!

Melodies of the Logging camp; live music by an accordionist, starting from 550,00 €
Painting of your event; reserve an artist to paint your event, starting from 340,00 €

Booking terms:

The Logging Camp package is served with pre-order for lunch and dinner parties of 10-20 persons.

Menu is available only with pre-order and the price is valid when the same menu is ordered for the whole party.
We will accommodate to special dietary wishes informed in advance.

The final amount of persons must be informed at the latest 3 business days before the occasion. If the announcement of the decrease in the number of the participants comes later than 3 days before the occasion or not at all, the restaurant is justified to charge the beforehand ordered services according to the number of participants last informed. Minimum charge for 10 persons.

Lunches and dinners for companies can be invoiced afterwards (invoicing fee 7,00 €) or be paid at the restaurant. The payment takes automatically place on the spot, if the subscriber does not inform the invoicing address and reference information in advance.

Entrance to PikkuSavotta is from street Sofiankatu, which is a small street between Senate Square and Market Square. Pikkusavotta is located opposite the City Museum of Helsinki
